OLDSCHOOL GAMING www.Oldschool-Gaming.com
Oldschool Gaming is a reviews site, specifically for recent games that have been developed for classic 1980's home microcomputers such as the Commodore 64 and Sinclair Spectrum; these machines are of personal interest to Jason, who edits and generally maintains the site as well as contributing to other retro gaming publications (including the occasional piece for the retro column in national magazine Micro Mart) and collaborating on the writing of new software for various 8-bit platforms.
The first version of Oldschool Gaming was originally launched in 2004 after a lengthy gestation period. Since this kind of site is very much content-driven, a good body of articles and reviews had to be created by the writing team before the site could go fully live. This is now the third revision of the site, the update completely changed the overall look and colour scheme, added some new functionality and made the overall maintainance of the site content easier. |
